"This is not the time for a mini reform that only aims to address the issue of the governance of the ASL and hospitals . A year after the regional elections, we need to address the structural problems and emergencies of the health disaster in Sardinia."
Fausto Durante, regional secretary of the Cgil, reiterated this during the sit-in protest organized by the union under the Regional Council building, in conjunction with the discussion of the bill that aims to place health companies under special administration.
Yesterday the Chamber approved the passage to the articles, this afternoon the Health Committee will examine the over three hundred amendments presented.
For Durante, the little reform does not deal with "endless waiting lists, very long times for hospitalizations and services, terrifying staff shortages, the decimated structure of general practitioners , then there is the issue of community homes on which we are at 3% of use of the resources made available by the Pnrr". Many center-right councilors are present at the sit-in.
