Healthcare, a dangerous profession: nearly 300 workers have been attacked in Sardinia in one year.

Insults, threats, and assaults against doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers. In 2025, there were 225 cases of violence against healthcare workers in Sardinia, involving a total of 292 workers , the majority of whom were women , in emergency rooms, hospitals, and clinics.

The findings come on the National Day Against Violence Against Healthcare Workers, a profession increasingly forced to live with danger.
