A serious accident occurred on State Road 198 near Bau 'e Nuxi, downstream from Ilbono. One person is in critical condition and has been transferred to the intensive care unit at Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari.

On site were the 118 emergency responders, the Carabinieri of the Lanusei mobile radio unit and the Lanusei firefighters.

According to what has been learned, around 5 pm a head-on collision occurred between two cars and the driver of one of the two was thrown onto the asphalt.

The state road remained closed to traffic for a long time during the rescue operations and surveys.
