Around 7.30 this morning a serious road accident resulted in the death of a young woman originally from Ilbono.

The crash occurred along the Lanusei ring road, in front of the headquarters of the Fire Brigade. The car in which the victim was traveling and with another woman on board skidded and hit some road signs and then overturned. The young woman, born in 1994, died instantly. The other was rescued and taken in red code to the Lanusei hospital.

On site, the Lanusei Fire Brigade team, the carabinieri and the 118 Health Service.
