He sold the company's goods and collected the money for himself. A forty-seven-year-old employee was arrested this morning by the Carabinieri, accused of aggravated theft.

A sales clerk in a store specializing in building supplies was allegedly caught red-handed by the company owners while, inside the store, he was selling to a buyer material for a total value of approximately 1,000 euros. But he did not issue a receipt and kept the money for himself.

The Carabinieri, called by the owners, quickly arrived on the scene, recovered the money and proceeded to the immediate arrest of the subject. The sum was then returned to the rightful owner, while the suspect, after completing the formal procedures, was accompanied to the Court in Cagliari for the validation hearing.
