A 23-year-old man was transported to hospital by air ambulance after falling off a cliff on the edge of State Road 127.

The 23-year-old, walking back from a local restaurant, leaned on the guardrail but fell into a ravine about 4 meters deep, in the dark and among brambles, and was injured.

After the alarm, the Tempio firefighters swung into action, harnessed him and recovered him, before handing him over to the care of 118, who also intervened on site with an air rescue .
