But a consensual separation can be annulled when the consent of one spouse was obtained through a false representation of reality , a lie, which was decisive for the decision. This is what Judge Francesca Lecis of the Court of Nuoro ruled in a ruling filed on September 9, at the end of a process that lasted over six years.
The story concerns a couple from Nuoro who had reached a mutually agreed separation agreement in the summer of 2020. The man, an entrepreneur, discovered the affair through lawyer Angelo Magliocchetti and subsequently asked the court to annul the agreements, claiming that he had given his consent based on false assurances.
