The escape of a man who was under house arrest in his home in Caneva (Pordenone), with the electronic bracelet, lasted 36 hours: he was identified and arrested on the Costa Smeralda.

What betrayed him was the cell phone signal, as soon as he turned it back on, after a long ferry trip from Livorno to Olbia. This is a 43-year-old subjected to the restrictive measure because he was found in possession of over 8 kilograms of marijuana, hidden in his workplace.

The agents of the Flying Squad of the Sassari Police Headquarters, informed of the turning point in the investigation by their colleagues from Pordenone, tracked him down near the car parks of the Golfo Aranci beach.
