Attempted robbery in the early hours of the morning at the “La Perla” bar on Via Nazionale in Monastir .
The incident occurred around 7:00 a.m., when a young man wearing a balaclava and armed with a gun entered the premises from the door on Via Dante.
At the time of the incident, the owner, the manager's father-in-law, and a regular customer were inside the premises and were allegedly threatened with a gun.
According to an initial reconstruction, the criminal approached the register where the owner's father-in-law was standing, demanding the handover of cash and cigarettes. A brief struggle ensued, during which the man at the register struck the criminal, forcing him to run away without taking anything.
The bar owner chased the fugitive in his own car , but the young man initially managed to disappear in a black car.
There are no cameras in the premises, but the incident was apparently filmed by the municipal system located on the main road.
