Tragedy in the countryside of Uri, in the Burellu area. A farmer, Sebastiano Sanna, 80 years old, originally from the area, died after being hit by a motor hoe while he was busy working in the fields he owned.

The elderly man was in the company of his wife when the accident occurred at 3pm. The man lost control of the vehicle which dragged him with it, overwhelming him. The wife requested the immediate intervention of the 118 ambulance.

On site the health workers did nothing but confirm the death. The police from the Uri station and the firefighters were also present and made the area safe.
