Surprised inside the Faculty of Law of Cagliari , in via Sant'Ignazio da Laconi, a 39-year-old was arrested red-handed by the state police.

The agents of the Volante intervened on the recommendation of a citizen who had seen the man climb over the fence. Immediately afterwards, the anti-intrusion alarm connected to the operations center of the Police Headquarters was triggered.

The policemen verified that some accesses to the building had already been forced and the attacker was still in place. A cell phone taken away from a university classroom and the burglary tools, namely a grinder, a wrench and a glass-breaking hammer, ended up under seizure.

The 39-year-old, already known to the police, ended up in handcuffs for aggravated theft and was also reported for unjustified possession of altered keys and lockpicks.

In addition, the report to the judicial authority has started for him following the failure to comply with the mandatory way sheet issued by the Police Chief of which he was found to be the recipient.

Today the hearing is scheduled for direct.
