He bought a 1,318.70 euro swimming pool on the “piscinemanoamano.it” website, but it was never delivered to him.
A 60-year-old pensioner from Villacidro was scammed on the web and the carabinieri at the end of the investigation denounced a 31-year-old native of Crotone and resident in Rome already known to the police.
Aggravated fraud the crime charged to the man who, once the transfer has been received, has evaporated.
The carabinieri recall that although they often manage, with great difficulty, to identify the perpetrators of such scams, they can often be convicted but "never" will return the value of the fraud committed .
