A Carabinieri patrol from the Quartu Company's mobile radio unit was mobilized and, at the end of a long chase, arrested a 25-year-old man (in flagrante delicto) on charges of resisting a public official and fleeing with danger.
During a territorial control operation, the Carabinieri of Quartu spotted a Fiat Multipla travelling at high speed along provincial road 8, in the Terre Teula area in the municipality of Monserrato.
When ordered to stop, the driver continued driving, posing a danger to road users, and reached his residence in "Su Pezzu Mannu" in Selargius, where he was arrested. The young man was taken to the police station.
