For this reason, a fifty-one-year-old unemployed man , already known to law enforcement, was arrested by officers from the temporary station in Flumini di Quartu, with the support of the Quartu Sant'Elena Operations and Mobile Unit. He faces charges of domestic abuse, personal injury, and possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.

The operation was triggered by a call for help to the 112 emergency number , reporting a violent argument taking place inside a home. Quickly arriving on the scene, officers were able to quell the altercation, during which the man allegedly attacked his cohabiting parent. The Carabinieri also noted a particularly nervous and altered demeanor in the man, leading to suspicions that he might be under the influence of drugs. Therefore, they decided to conduct a personal and home search, which led to the discovery of a large quantity of drugs hidden in the home.

Specifically, the officers seized approximately 145 grams of ketamine , some of which had already been divided into fifty doses, as well as more than 60 grams of marijuana and 22 grams of hashish . During the checks, they also recovered a precision scale and various materials used to package the doses. The fifty-one-year-old was escorted to the barracks and, after completing the required formalities, taken to Uta, where he remains at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
