Three blocks of hashish, a packaging machine, and five hundred euros in various denominations. These were enough for Cagliari Police Headquarters officers to arrest a 62-year-old man from Settimo San Pietro .

The operation took place yesterday afternoon. As part of a series of drug checks in the Cagliari hinterland, the Flying Squad's Falcons searched the man's home and found 180 grams of hashish divided into three blocks, the material used to package the drugs, and banknotes of various denominations that the officers believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing .

The man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession and trafficking. Following the fast-track trial, the judge ordered house arrest.
