In Sardinia there is still a water emergency. And the ones who suffer the most are the farmers .

In many municipalities – such as Samassi and Serrenti – the fields without water have halved the harvests and farmers have been forced to reduce the cultivated surfaces . Others, for example in Villacidro, have turned to fruits and “tropical” products.

In this situation the reservoirs remain half empty and we hope for a rainy March , especially in the north-west and on the western front of the Island. In the meantime, the control room has been convened to manage the crisis.
