Eleven shots, fired in two bursts, split into four and seven. It was most likely a blank gun —but investigations are ongoing—the weapon used during a mysterious incident near Villa Joy, the building in Loiri Porto San Paolo at the center of the recent heated controversy surrounding the Cala Finanza real estate transaction in Loiri Porto San Paolo.

The incident occurred at 4 a.m.: several shell casings were found on the ground in a square in front of the property. These were handed over to the Carabinieri, who began an investigation after the company that owns the property filed a complaint.
According to reports , there was also a break-in on the property: someone damaged the no-trespassing signs and some chairs used by the guards.

The damage is not significant, but the incident gives an idea of the growing tension surrounding an operation that, despite the revocation of the authorizations, is gaining traction and continues to be contested.

At this time, there is no evidence to link these incidents to the people who have been peacefully demonstrating for days at the picket near the entrance to Cala Finanza.

Meanwhile, the protest continues with a new demonstration on July 19th, featuring Sardinian masks from Orotelli and Mamoiada.
