Two villas in Porto Rotondo are among the properties seized by the Guardia di Finanza, on orders from the Bari Court, from Apulian entrepreneurs Alviero and Erasmo Antro.

Military personnel from the Bari Provincial Command and the GICO (Italian National Investigative Committee) seized assets worth a total of approximately €35 million, including seaside and mountain villas. These include properties in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Milan, and Bari, as well as two villas in Porto Rotondo and Ostuni. The asset investigation also involves businesses and companies in Sardinia, Emilia-Romagna, Puglia, and Lazio (restaurants), assets registered to alleged front men.

Alviero and Erasmo Antro allegedly obtained contracts from the Province of Bari worth approximately twenty million euros, but failed to fully execute the work. With the proceeds of their alleged crimes, the Antro brothers allegedly purchased assets over a period extending until 2023. It should be noted that the trials against the two brothers concluded, at least the most recent ones, with the statute of limitations being imposed. Alviero Antro has long been a frequent visitor to Porto Rotondo and is well-known in the Olbia tourist resort.
