For the Girasole community there is no peace. A new break in the water main , the fourth in four days, interrupted the filling of the storage tank on which the community was counting to regain water after four days without any drops.
The Abbanoa technicians had to start everything from the beginning: fix the new fault and put the water under pressure. But it is precisely this last operation that is worrying, because since it is a forty-year-old pipeline, the introduction of water into the network risks causing further breakages.
This morning Abbanoa, at the request of the mayor Lodovico Piras, sent the first tanker which stopped in Piazza Venezia to distribute water to the thirsty population.
