She had said it before leaving the island, after her previous stay: "I'm sure you'll see me again." And Giorgia Meloni kept her promise. The Prime Minister returned to La Maddalena on Friday to enjoy another three days of relaxation with her daughter.

The prime minister was reportedly particularly struck by the beauty of the archipelago, as was her little girl, who greatly appreciated these days spent between the sea and nature. A simple holiday: long days on the water, dinghy rides between the islands, and a packed lunch, far away as possible from institutional duties and the political spotlight. On Saturday, Meloni also spent a few hours with her sister, currently on vacation in Sardinia. The two remained together until late evening. After a day at the beach, they dined at the Perla Blu and then stopped downtown, where they listened to live music in Piazza 23 Febbraio, mingling discreetly with residents and tourists.

The Prime Minister's return confirms the connection that developed during her first vacation in La Maddalena. At the time, Meloni had said she was captivated by what she called one of the most beautiful seas she'd ever seen. And a few weeks later, she chose the archipelago again for a few days of tranquility before resuming her official duties.
