Giave, a two-story building on fire: the only person inside is safe, extensive damage

Fire in Giave last night in a house in a two-story building in the historic center.
The fire involved the entire building, whose sole occupant was taken to the emergency room for checks.

The extinguishing operations were complex and despite the massive intervention of the Sassari Fire Brigade teams, the building suffered serious damage and the roof partially collapsed.

An ambulance from 118 and a Carabinieri patrol were also on site.
