Road accident yesterday evening in Ghilarza , on Corso Umberto at the intersection with Via Lombardia.

An Iveco Daily and a Fiat Idea , for reasons currently being investigated, after impacting, crashed into a wall and a tree.

Firefighters from the Abbasanta detachment arrived on the scene, secured the scene, and worked with paramedics to extract the driver from the vehicle. He was then transported to San Francesco Hospital in Nuoro . The van driver was unharmed.
The Carabinieri were also on site.
