A copy of the family friend's cell phone memory and the testimony of a police officer who had carried out checks at the bank where the victims had an account.
The fourth hearing before the judges of the Assize Court of Cagliari in the trial against Claudio Gulisano , the 44-year-old accused of killing his parents Luigi Gulisano and Marisa Dessì , aged 79 and 82, in December 2024 in an apartment in the Quartiere del Sole in Cagliari, lasted relatively short.
At the opening hearing, the President of the Assize Court instructed a computer engineer to make a copy of the cell phone memory of Luigi Gulisano's friend, who had been questioned during the previous hearing.
The woman had said she knew about the difficult relationship between father and son , which she had also discussed with Luigi Gulisano in several phone chats. Copies were therefore made of the chats, including those from the days preceding the double homicide, as well as the phone calls and text messages the woman had exchanged with the victim.
A Carabinieri officer who conducted the investigation at the bank where the Gulisanos and the accused had accounts was then questioned. The focus was on access to the bank accounts and the transactions in the days before and after the murder .
The next hearing is September 16. Claudio Gulisano is charged with aggravated double homicide and computer fraud for withdrawing approximately €20,000 from his parents' accounts using their online banking platform.
According to the prosecution, he killed his parents by strangling and suffocating them in order to inherit some property and thus solve the financial problems he had related to the failure of the market donated by his father.
