The strong smell of gas returned today in various areas of Cagliari and its hinterland. Numerous residents reported the smell to the Fire Department from various neighborhoods of the capital: Mulinu Becciu, Fondarda, Genneruxi, Sant'Avendrace, Viale Monastir, Viale Cadello, Sant'Elia, and others. Reports also came in from Quartu, Elmas, and Selargius. Yesterday, the emergency was over after a few hours, but the cause was still unclear. The Marino Hospital was evacuated as a precaution .
