The weather situation remains critical in the municipalities of Galtellì and Orosei. The Sologo and Cedrino rivers are in flood , and several areas have already seen flooding, with warning levels exceeded.

The mayor of Galtellì, Franco Solinas, is closely monitoring the situation, working with provincial and regional authorities and the Prefect of Nuoro. Monitoring is ongoing 24/7 thanks to the Municipal Operations Center, the Local Police, municipal workers, the Civil Protection Department, and the Barracellare Company.

The dam upstream of the Cedrino has exceeded 105 meters and is discharging 444 cubic meters per second. The storm surge currently underway at its mouth on the Orosei coast is slowing the normal flow of water to the sea. These critical issues have also been confirmed by the mayor of Orosei, Elisa Farris, who reports that "the Cedrino is in flood, with surges in the plain, very high waves, and beaches completely covered by the storm surge." The town of Galtellì is currently safe, but the situation in the countryside remains critical.
