During Easter , even taking advantage of the absence of tenants, they carried out several raids in the homes of Alghero and other municipalities in the Province of Sassari , taking away a total of 130 jewels and about 4,000 euros in cash .
After the reports, the police managed to track them down: they are two young women of 23 and 24, from Turin , who have now been reported on the loose for aggravated theft .
The agents of the Alghero police station recovered, hidden in a compartment of the two girls' car, placed between the hood and the covering of the same, a myriad of banknotes , especially 50 euros, as well as dozens and dozens of jewels (necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, pendants and watches), whose legitimate owners are now being sought .
"Anyone who had suffered a theft in the days prior to 19 April 2022 - explain the investigators -, can contact the Alghero Police Department for an appointment aimed at the recognition and possible return of their assets".
