They left San Sperate with their voices ready and a Sardinian song to share. About twenty children from the Piccolo Coro comunale were the protagonists of the first edition of " Dolomeeting - Intrecci di onde e di vette ." The musical, cultural, and gastronomic exchange brought them to Limana, in the Belluno mountains, alongside their peers from the Coro Arcobaleno, which is celebrating 44 years of activity. "We left with about twenty children, a group of 50 people including young singers and parents," says Giovanna Caria, director of the Piccolo Coro San Sperate .

"Besides our love of singing and choral activities involving children and families, we discovered we also shared the fact that we are cities of honey. Sardinia and Veneto have a great cultural and linguistic richness: we with Grazia Deledda , they with Dino Buzzati . From here, the idea of bringing together our cultures and traditions and sharing them was born."

Three intense days for the young Sardinians. The program included singing in the Sardinian language and Belluno dialect, folk legends featuring Jana, a traditional Sardinian fairy, alongside Venetian Mazaròl, and an exchange of traditional products, from honey to carasau bread. Then came a meeting with the mayor and the children from the primary school, a visit to Longarone and the Vajont Dam, a mass enlivened by choirs, and a parade of vintage motor mowers . The trip concluded with a final concert in Piazza Florido Lorenzi, featuring songs by both separate and joint choirs, the culmination of the encounter between the two worlds.
