He was born in England but now it is as if he were Sardinian . We often hear of emigrants from the island looking for work and new experiences. However, there are also those who come from abroad and stay in Sardinia.

This is what happened to Glenn Bryan , owner and director of an English school in Sestu , "I Speak English". An Englishman who has chosen Sardinia by creating his own business and family here . “I arrived in Cagliari for the first time in 2006 ,” says Bryan. “I have always been passionate about languages and have qualified to teach English to non-natives. I have a degree in Economics and Commerce. All this allowed me to start and manage my own business, an English school. I also teach my mother tongue at the University of Cagliari. So I do what I like. My personal mission is to get people to communicate in English for personal, academic or professional purposes ”.

Bryan is originally from Preston in Northern England. A county capital with a population of about 150 thousand inhabitants and a university that shares several characteristics with that of Cagliari.

There are many reasons for his choice to move. " Cagliari has a rare beauty for me - he continues, - highlighted by its very rich history. In every corner its antiquity emerges. Its sea is fabulous . Then, last but not least, the lifestyle that made me immediately fall in love . Afterwards eighteen years are still here. I live with my Sardinian wife and our two bilingual children. Cagliari is now my second hometown ".
