From Asinara to Verona: the white donkeys Tilicherta and Fisietto parade at the fair.

The white donkeys of the Asinara National Park are called Tilicherta and Fisietto, the stars of the parade held at the one hundred and twenty-seventh Verona Horse Fair.

They were able to enjoy this trip thanks to their companion, veterinarian Giovannantonio Pilo, who treats animals on and off the island out of passion and love for a rare species, the albino donkeys that inhabit Asinara.

During his long research activity he recreated the pure breed that currently grazes in the territory of the national park, and every now and then he proudly shows the result, donkeys that participate in initiatives overseas.

Seven other purebred gray donkeys from various parts of Sardinia were present at the Verona fair. They captivated the attendees and captivated the audience with their originality, starting with Tilicherta, who paraded in a gig alongside Fisietto, his twin, born fifteen days apart.
