He fired a shotgun at his mother and barricaded himself in a house in the country. Tragedy touched on this morning in Monti : around 10 a phone call arrived at 112 in which a woman asked for help, she explained that her son had exploded at her, fortunately without hitting her.

The carabinieri of the Olbia Radiomobile and the Monti station arrived on the spot and surrounded the house. Also present were the men of the Hunters Squadron with the negotiator of the operational department of Sassari.

The 38-year-old, after a brief negotiation, gave up and surrendered to the police.

He was admitted to a mental health center.
