Biological traces useful for the investigations were found on the sofa of the house in Via Monastir. Blood, perhaps: a discovery which, if confirmed by subsequent analyses, could be useful for reconstructing the dynamics of Francesca Deidda's murder.
The Cagliari RIS carabinieri this morning entered the house that the woman, whose remains were found in a bag along the old Orientale, in the San Vito area, shared with her husband Igor Sollai: the forty-three year old is in prison with the accused of killing his wife and hiding her body.
The attention of the Carabinieri specialists was focused on the cushions of that sofa which, according to what we learn, Sollai had tried to sell after the woman's disappearance, which dates back to early May.
He wanted to get rid of it, as he had done with the car which yesterday - after the seizure carried out against the unsuspecting buyer - was sifted through: in this case too, blood traces emerged which could prove useful for the investigations.
The investigators, coordinated by the Prosecutor Marco Cocco, are collecting useful elements on a daily basis to reconstruct what happened: this morning the Ris left the house taking the pillows with them.
