It is no coincidence that they have always considered it a magnificent "land of conquest". There was wood to be made and Sardinia was always there , available. There is no foreign army that has not devastated its coasts and hinterland, mortally polluted the environment and attacked the health of the Sardinians.

And from the series "they often come back" this time, however, instead of making wood and lead, the aim on the Island is to make wind and money, sun and incentives , those of the State, obviously taken directly from the pockets of citizens through the increasingly exorbitant electricity bills.

The vast majority of projects presented in Sardinia, from north to south, are in the hands of foreign companies of all kinds.

La mappa

First among all, the two great superpowers par excellence, China and the United States of America . Chinese interests follow three major lines. The first: the photovoltaic panels that are invading Sardinia are all or almost all "Made in China". The second line: that of batteries , endless expanses of containers loaded with lithium. There are hundreds of them: in Portovesme, Quartucciu, Ottana and Codrongianus. The third line is that of direct intervention in the sale of land , with the most striking example being that of Nurra: a project for 1,000 hectares of agrivoltaic systems to be placed in the wonderful agricultural lands of the north of the island, the largest photovoltaic system ever designed in Europe.

And then there is the largest American investment bank: Jp Morgan, in a project that for three years has put under attack the slopes of Monte Arcosu with hundreds of hectares of photovoltaic panels, and infinite agricultural areas in the Ottana area. And then the sights on the Sardinian sea with three devastating projects: two in the waters in front of Nora, in the Golfo degli Angeli, and one in front of the coasts of Olbia, Budoni and Siniscola.

In the top ten of foreign speculation in Sardinia, however, there are also the Spanish , and there is no shortage of Germans, French, Norwegians and, the latest arrivals, the Israelis . The flag with the "Star of David" in total silence has razed the slopes of Limbara, in the Tempio area, and is now a candidate to place a mountain of wind turbines, 31 over 200 meters high, on the mountains around Cagliari, between Maracalagonis and Sinnai.
