The memory of Andrea Parodi unites the island from north to south. While Cagliari will celebrate the final day of the award dedicated to the unforgettable singer on Saturday, the Nova Euphonia Vocal Ensemble and the City of Sassari Student Choir will perform in the Basilica of Porto Torres at 9:00 PM.
The special stage, the 13th, of the 9th edition of the Festival delle Bellezze enjoys the patronage not only of the Municipality of Porto Torres but also of the Andrea Parodi Foundation , the only event to receive this recognition.
The choirs directed by Vincenzo Cossu will take the audience on a musical journey with a program that ranges from vocal pop to film music, from Sardinian melodies to world music, and even classical music.
Saturday evening is once again part of the secular celebrations included in the calendar promoted by the municipal administration for the feast of the Martyrs of Turritani.
On this important occasion, the entire Festival staff extends a special thought to Antonella Manca of Ittiri, mother of two young choristers, who passed away in a tragic accident last October 6th.
