At just 14 years old – in Perugia – she graduated as Italian champion of dressage , an equestrian discipline that is also an Olympic specialty. And next Thursday she is expected in Marseille for the European championships.

But Annalisa Moro, originally from Fonni , risks not being able to take part in the very important and prestigious sporting commitment. The reason? The difficulty in taking her Arabian-Sardinian horse, Arattu, on the ferries.

The father of the baby horse racing star, Cosimo Moro , told UnioneSarda.it about the misadventure: «We had already booked and paid – and not a little – the tickets for the Moby-Tirrenia connection between Porto Torres and Genoa. But we were told that the horse could not be taken on board due to bad weather . The same thing from Olbia».

During the races in Perugia, no problems arose: "We went to Civitavecchia without any worries. This time, however, we risk not leaving", continues Moro. He adds: "My daughter is obviously demoralized and I feel frustrated too. There is so much talk about continuity and then we run into problems like these".

The hope now is to be able to find a last minute solution in time for the start of the European Championships : "Time is running out, we are even ready to travel hundreds of kilometers more so as not to miss the appointment. So we continue to wait for someone to tell us what to do and to try to find a way to solve a problem that gives an idea of the inconveniences that Sardinians who have to travel are forced to endure, even for work or for important appointments like the one my daughter has to attend."
