Malamovida, places that do not respect hygiene and road safety standards

Public places

Serious violations emerged in Cagliari and Monserrato. In the capital, a business was suspended, with a fine of 3 thousand euros, for failure to comply with hygiene standards and failure to apply self-control procedures.

In a private club in Monserrato, however, the administration of food and drinks to non-members was ascertained. Fines for 5 thousand euros, also in this case the suspension of the activity was requested from the Municipality.

Drugs, alcohol and bad nightlife

In Quartu, in a public park, an abandoned knuckle duster was found among the vegetation. The weapon was seized, investigations started to identify its origin.

In Villacidro, the driver of a car tested positive for alcohol, with a rate almost 5 times higher than the permitted level (2.39 grams per liter). The vehicle was seized, the license withdrawn.

An SUV was also seized, driven by a woman from Muravera who refused to take an alcohol test and was found to be without a driving license.

Skyrocketing blood alcohol levels and license revocation for two other drivers in Ussana and Iglesias.

A 21-year-old from Iglesias, caught in possession of 10 grams of marijuana and scales, was placed under house arrest. Other people stopped in nightclubs and public parks were reported for possession of hashish and marijuana.

The budget

Over 300 people identified, 170 vehicles checked, 38 fines for violations of the Highway Code. Weapons and drugs seized.
