An apartment was evacuated during the night in the historic center of Cagliari.

The alarm went off late yesterday evening when a fire broke out in via Corte d'Appello, in a cellar. The fire brigade intervened on the spot and extinguished the flames and made the structure safe.

Residents in the apartment above were evacuated.

The causes that triggered the fire to be defined.
