Ep Produzione spa, the company that manages the coal-fired plant of Fiume Santo, in the Sassari area, launches the decarbonisation plan of the energy system called "Energy Park" and identifies the key action line to help achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

The presentation is scheduled in Sassari, tomorrow, Friday 24 March, at the headquarters of Confindustria Centro Nord Sardegna, where the CEO of Ep Produzione, Luca Alippi and Giorgio Chizzolini, director of HSE, Asset Management and Permitting EP Produzione, will illustrate the project capable of guaranteeing a productive future for the Fiume Santo industrial site, with a multifunctional and multi-fuel development perspective . The presentation will be attended by Giovanni Conoci, vice president of Confindustria, Gavino Mariotti, Rector of the University of Sassari.

This will be followed by a round table entitled "The future of Fiume Santo for a more sustainable Sardinia" , which will be attended by Michele Pais, president of the regional council of Sardinia, Pietro Fois, extraordinary administrator of the province of Sassari, Gian Vittorio Campus, mayor of Sassari, Massimo Mulas, mayor of Porto Torres, Valerio Scanu, president of the Provincial Industrial Consortium of Sassari, the deputy Silvio Lai, and Massimiliano Muretti, general secretary of CGIL Sassari with Gavino Carta, general secretary of Cisl Sardegna and Maria Francesca Ticca, regional confederal secretary UR Uil Sardinia.
