"Now we have to speed up the times for the disbursement of aid as much as possible," says the regional councilor for agriculture, Gabriella Murgia.

"Our agricultural and livestock companies have already paid heavily for the effects of this serious emergency and are now also facing the repercussions of an international crisis that is causing an out-of-control increase in production costs", added the representative of the junta. Solinas.

The Region informs that the compensation is foreseen for the damages suffered for the losses of dead stocks (fodder and feed) and live (animals), therefore for cattle, horses, sheep and goats due to the fire, for disposal. of carcasses, for each destroyed hive, for the loss of each queen bee and for the animals reared, based on the need for fodder, feed and other foods, for a maximum of three months.

The council also approved another resolution that establishes the criteria and methods of implementation , by the Agris agency, of the project for the recovery and restoration of the Montiferru olive groves damaged by fire and for interventions to improve and protect the germplasm indigenous olive groves, for which 1,150,000 euros had already been allocated.
