Among the most serious incidents was the one that broke out in Decimomannu , in the locality Zippeddu , where flames engulfed a farm, damaging a truck and other vehicles in the area . A team from the Cagliari Fire Department headquarters and another from the Iglesias detachment are working on the scene.
Other fires have broken out in the Capoterra area. One blaze affected the Torre degli Ulivi area , where two firefighting teams responded with the support of a fire truck, while another fire broke out near the town's urban park.
