First field day of the season on the fire front in Sardinia.

A first fire broke out immediately in the early afternoon in Tramatza: here the flames threatened a furniture factory but the prompt intervention of the teams on the ground prevented the building from being hit.

The situation in Pardu Nou, a village in Siamaggiore, still in the Oristano area, is more complex: the evacuation of the homes, invaded by smoke, has been ordered, while the operators on the ground are supported by three helicopters. Also in the area was a Canadair that took off from Ciampino. The fire is now under control.

Instead, the fire touched a cylinder depot between San Sperate and Monastir: provincial road 4 was enveloped in smoke and the flames "jumped" from one end of the road to the other, involving various uncultivated and Not.

The fire threatens some houses in the area: it is now moving towards the town centre. Firefighters, civil protection and carabinieri were on site.
