19 fires were recorded today in Sardinia. For three of these, the Forestry Corps also used the regional service's aerial vehicles for fire-fighting activities, in addition to the teams on the ground.

The emergencies occurred in Laconi, in the “Perdaba” area, where the activities were coordinated by the Laconi Forestry Corps station with the helicopter personnel coming from the CFVA base in Fenosu. A team from the Forestas Agency from the Laconi - Bau Mela shipyards intervened. The flames spread across a contained surface of brambles and brushwood.

In Decimoputzu, in the “Riu Matta” area, the operations were coordinated by the staff of the Uta Forestry Corps station, with the helicopter coming from the CFVA base in Pula. A team of firefighters and a team of volunteers from the Monastir - Orsa S. Lucia association are on site. The fire covered an area of approximately 1.5 hectares of rows of eucalyptus and uncultivated trees.

Finally in Villamar, in the "SMA Maddalena" area, the fire extinguishing was coordinated by the staff of the Barumini Forestry Corps Station, assisted by the staff on board the helicopter coming from the CFVA base of Villasalto. A team from the Forestas Agency from the Barumini construction site - Urban center intervened. The fire affected agricultural areas.
