The ghost of fires returns to Gallura. The strong wind that is blowing on the island in these hours has fueled the flames of a fire that broke out on the outskirts of Olbia, in the Pinnacula area.

The tongues of fire reached the houses. But thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire brigade ground teams, no inhabitant had to abandon their home.

About five thousand meters of forest area was up in smoke. The Municipality has issued an alert for adverse weather conditions with wind and storms starting from this afternoon and throughout tomorrow.
