Large fire in the Ittiri countryside, two Canadairs on site

A large fire broke out this morning in the countryside of Ittiri.

Two Canadair aircraft from Olbia and two light helicopters from the Forestry Corps , one from the Bosa base and the other from Anela, were deployed to support the ground teams. Access by land is difficult due to the lack of secondary roads.

The Ploaghe Forestry Station is coordinating the firefighting operations on site.

The fire is attacking a wooded area with scrub and wooded pastures , between the provincial roads 28 Ittiri-Usini and 15 Ittiri-Uri.
