Fire in the countryside of Alà dei Sardi: Three helicopters to put out the flames.

Approximately 5 hectares of woodland went up in flames today in the countryside of Alà dei Sardi, in the Presinsainu area, due to a fire that required the intervention of three helicopters. Two are Superpumas, which took off from the Alà dei Sardi and Fenosu bases, and one from Anela.

Two Forestas teams from the Alà dei Sardi construction sites (Coiluna and Terranova), a team from the local Barracelli, a team of local volunteers, and a team from the Ozieri fire brigade also responded to the scene. The Buddusò Forestry Corps station coordinated the firefighting operations .

Eighteen fires were recorded in Sardinia today. The other fire involving helicopters occurred in Sagama, near Mura Pilosu: two from Bosa and Fenosu (Superpuma). The blaze affected approximately six hectares of pasture .
