Moments of fear in Sorso due to a fire that broke out inside a tool shed located in the courtyard of a home in the town center.

Firefighters from the Sassari provincial command were alerted this afternoon to Via Carlo Pisacane , where a fire broke out inside a room of a house used for storing equipment, burning much of the materials, including plastic. The situation raised alarm among residents, whose attention was drawn to the cloud of smoke billowing into the sky , visible from a distance, and the strong, lingering odor.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Firefighters are still working to put out the flames and secure the area before proceeding with the cleanup.
