Fire in Sant'Isidoro di Quartucciu: houses damaged, a woman rescued

Flames broke out this afternoon near the old Orientale Sarda in the Sant'Isidoro di Quartucciu area, a few kilometres from the village of the same name, with the fire reaching the courtyards of some country houses , damaging other buildings and leading to the evacuation of two people.
A woman felt so ill that an ambulance had to be called to help her .
The firefighters, volunteers from the National Fire Brigade and the Quartu PAFF, "The Quartucciu Volunteers," and two teams of volunteers from Estonia and France were on site. Once the flames were extinguished, the cleanup of the site began. During the intervention, the foreign volunteers, along with the PAFF, rescued a dog trapped in one of the houses.
