Fire in Nurri: Flames from an abandoned building hit a house

A fire broke out this afternoon in Nurri, in a ruined house. The flames, which originated inside the structure, then partially engulfed another adjacent house.

There were no injuries, with the 118 emergency team's intervention being only a precautionary measure. Four firefighting teams were deployed to put out the blaze: one from the Cagliari power plant, one from Mandas, one from Sanluri, and one from Sorgono.

Along with the firefighters and emergency medical services, the Carabinieri of Isili also arrived on the scene. Investigations are still ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
