The fire that broke out yesterday afternoon in Luras has restarted, and this morning the Forestry Corps had to send in the helicopter again , which arrived from the operational base in Limbara.

The fire, which broke out yesterday in the Monte Biancu area, was monitored throughout the night, and in the early hours of the morning, the Forestry Corps dispatched an aerial vehicle to the scene at the request of the Director of Fire Extinguishing Operations. Ground personnel are also working on the scene.

Yesterday a helicopter, the Super Puma and a Canadair from Olbia intervened, the fire was most likely triggered by thunderstorms .

10 hectares of scrubland and uncultivated land went up in smoke .
