Windows open to ventilate the premises, workers loading all the equipment that caught fire and is now ready to be disposed of into a van, and no phone lines are active. This is why all municipal activities are currently suspended .

This is the situation today at the building in Piazza Eleonora d'Arborea, after a fire yesterday, fortunately quickly extinguished, engulfed the server room on the first floor. Yesterday, it was thought the short circuit was caused by a computer left on after the business closed and the employees' working hours ended. This morning, technicians confirmed that the fault originated with a UPS , and the fire then spread to the servers.

An air conditioner was also involved and completely burned. Technicians also announced that fortunately, nothing will be lost, as the memory and storage components were not affected. Some passersby noticed smoke coming from a window and raised the alarm. Fortunately, the fire department arrived quickly. Technicians are now working to get the administrative system back up and running.
