Fire in Assemini: two cars destroyed and a house invaded by smoke, elderly couple saved

Two cars engulfed in flames and a house filled with smoke .
This is the result of a fire that broke out during the night in Assemini, in via Coghe .
The Cagliari firefighters intervened shortly after 4:30 with a team from the operations center supported by a fire truck. They put out the fire, secured the area and provided first aid to the two elderly residents of the house that is located near the two cars set on fire, invaded by smoke.
The 118 ambulance and the police were also on site. Investigations have begun to determine the cause of the fire.
